Virgo, This Blog is just for you.
Please note: this is a light-hearted, generalized look at Virgo energy through the lens of astrology and crystals. It’s all for the love and fun of it! Of course, there's far more to a person than just their star sign — so take what resonates and leave the rest.
Virgo – August 23 to September 22. These dates can shift slightly depending on the year and time zone, so if someone is born right on the cusp, they can choose what they want to be. This blog can apply to people with their moon in Virgo or the rising sign/ascendant in Virgo.
Virgo, Virgo, Virgo… the cosmic “virgin” in the wheat field? Not quite. Sure, some of you can play the part very well — organised, helpful, polished — but deep down, the truth is harder to hide. Cue the dramatic villain laugh: we see you. You’re not just neat and tidy — you feel deeply, think passionately, and often burn with quiet purpose. You're a sensual, complex, wild-hearted soul… not some innocent wallflower standing around waiting for the harvest.
So here’s the deal: you’re allowed to be messy, magical, and totally yourself. Want to water the garden in your pyjamas? Go for it. Dreaming of joining the local roller derby team? Do it. You thrive when you align your actions with your passions — so why not make your hard work fun?
And don’t forget: you’re allowed to escape too. Into the wild, under the stars, into deep thought or art or nature. You feel the vibrations of life more than most. Honour that. You’re not here to be perfect — you’re here to be real.
Crystals for Virgo Energy
These aren’t your classic textbook Virgo picks. They’re intuitive, unexpected, and speak to your earthy yet emotional self. Take what resonates — leave the rest in the compost pile.
🌳 Fossilised (Petrified) Wood – Grow Tall, Stand Proud
Ancient trees turned to stone — now that’s some Virgo energy. Petrified wood encourages you to own your wisdom and achievements. You’ve grown, you’ve worked hard, and you deserve to take up space. Let yourself be seen. Celebrate the journey so far and keep going — rooted, solid, and evolving.
💗 Ruby in Fuchsite – Passion + Peace
This beauty blends the fire of Ruby with the calming green of Fuchsite. It’s the perfect stone for Virgo: a mix of vibrant heart energy and soft, soothing vibes. It encourages you to shine without burning out, to speak up without apologising, and to love yourself fiercely — flaws and all.
🌱 Garden Quartz (can be smoky as well)– Soulful Growth
This dreamy quartz often looks like a tiny forest trapped inside. It’s a symbol of inner growth, grounding, and natural cycles. Garden Quartz helps Virgo slow down and reconnect with the magic of nature, the rhythm of the earth, and the deep healing found in quiet moments.
🔷 Blue Kyanite – Speak with Clarity (Especially When Annoyed)
Virgos are usually thoughtful with their words… until someone presses the wrong button. Then? Well, things can come out a little sideways. Blue Kyanite helps align your throat chakra, encouraging calm, clear, and honest communication — even when you're about ready to flip a table. Bonus: no need to cleanse this one. It clears itself. Efficient — just like you.
Virgo, you don’t have to fit into anyone’s mould. Be wild. Be wise. Be barefoot in the moonlight or dressed for success — just do it your way. You’ve got this.
A Little Note from Me
Please note, I’m not a professional astrologer — I just read way too many astrology books as a teenager. (Like, definitely on the unhealthy obsession scale.) These days, if you ask me about your star sign, I’ll probably just tell you to read a book.
Astrology, for me, is more of a light-hearted passion. It’s fun, reflective, and sometimes surprisingly accurate — but it’s not the be-all and end-all of life. Crystals are more my area of experience, and I truly believe that no matter what any book says, you should always go with what you feel drawn to.
These blogs are just me blending all twelve star signs with my knowledge of crystals — a bit of fun, a bit of wisdom, and hopefully a bit of insight for you too.
If you’re keen to dive deeper into astrology, I highly recommend visiting a local astrologer. It's important to have your birth chart done using the correct hemisphere (especially here in the Southern Hemisphere, where things can flip on their head). A good astrologer will make it all feel much more real and relatable.
Also, if you’re looking for a great read, Linda Goodman’s books are some of my absolute favourites. You can still find new copies, but there are heaps floating around second-hand — just watch the spin of the book if it’s been well-thumbed! Keep in mind that many astrology books get re-edited or revised to fit the times, so check which version you’re reading.
Kristy- Blissful Things.
