Taurus – This Blog Is Just for You
Please note: this is a light-hearted, generalized look at Taurus energy through the lens of astrology and crystals. It’s all for the love and fun of it! Of course, there's far more to a person than just their star sign — so take what resonates and leave the rest.
Taurus – April 20 to May 20. These dates can shift slightly depending on the year and time zone, so if someone is born right on the cusp, they can choose what they want to be. This blog can apply to people with their moon in Taurus or the rising sign/ascendant in Taurus.
Taurus — strong, grounded, and dependable. You’ve got this beautiful blend of loyalty, honesty, and reliability that others really appreciate. But let’s be real: just because you're steady doesn’t mean you're simple. There’s deep emotional and creative richness in you that often goes unseen.
You’re an incredible supporter, the kind of person who shows up again and again — but don’t forget, you’re allowed to shine too. Break new ground, take up space, and let your talents be visible. You’ve earned your place, so don’t let your gifts sit in someone else’s shadow. You do the mahi — now enjoy the treats. You deserve every bit of it.
Crystals for Taurus Energy
These aren’t your classic textbook picks — they’ve been chosen intuitively to reflect the many sides of Taurus. If one doesn’t vibe with you, no worries. Go with what resonates. That’s very Taurus anyway.
💗 Rose Quartz or 💚 Green Aventurine – Your Venusian Heart
Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty. Naturally, Rose Quartz is a go-to — soft pink, gentle, and all about unconditional love. But let’s be honest, not everyone’s into pink. Green Aventurine is a beautiful alternative — still very much in the love realm, but with a lush, earthy vibe. It’s a reminder that love grows in many shades… and greener pastures may be just around the corner.
🌊 Chrysocolla – Cool the Heat & Speak from the Heart
Taurus can be calm and collected… until suddenly, you’re not. Chrysocolla helps soothe those rising inner tempests and supports clear, heartfelt communication. It’s a peaceful stone that encourages speaking your truth — without raising your voice. Perfect when you're trying to get the message across without losing your cool.
🪨 Mookaite Jasper – Solid Strength with Flow
Mookaite, an Australian jasper, blends earthy grounding with a little bit of fire and movement. It supports wise decision-making and reminds you that stability doesn’t mean stagnation. You can move forward and stay grounded — it’s all about trust in the timing and trust in yourself.
🌳 New Zealand Petrified Wood – Anchored in What Feels Like Home
If you’re lucky enough to find local petrified wood — especially from New Zealand — it’s a powerful talisman for Taurus folk. This stone connects you to a deep, ancient sense of place and belonging. If NZ petrified wood isn’t available where you are, seek out a piece from a land that feels close to your heart. Alternatively good crystal supplier will have what you wont. It’s all about connection — to the earth, to your roots, and to the feeling of home.
Taurus, never forget: you’re not just the roots — you’re the whole blooming tree. Steady, generous, and full of quiet magic. So step into the light, own your worth, and let the world see the strength and beauty you carry.
A Little Note from Me
Please note, I’m not a professional astrologer — I just read way too many astrology books as a teenager. (Like, definitely on the unhealthy obsession scale.) These days, if you ask me about your star sign, I’ll probably just tell you to read a book.
Astrology, for me, is more of a light-hearted passion. It’s fun, reflective, and sometimes surprisingly accurate — but it’s not the be-all and end-all of life. Crystals are more my area of experience, and I truly believe that no matter what any book says, you should always go with what you feel drawn to.
These blogs are just me blending all twelve star signs with my knowledge of crystals — a bit of fun, a bit of wisdom, and hopefully a bit of insight for you too.
If you’re keen to dive deeper into astrology, I highly recommend visiting a local astrologer. It's important to have your birth chart done using the correct hemisphere (especially here in the Southern Hemisphere, where things can flip on their head). A good astrologer will make it all feel much more real and relatable.
Also, if you’re looking for a great read, Linda Goodman’s books are some of my absolute favourites. You can still find new copies, but there are heaps floating around second-hand — just watch the spin of the book if it’s been well-thumbed! Keep in mind that many astrology books get re-edited or revised to fit the times, so check which version you’re reading.
