Libra – This Blog Is Just for You
Please note: this is a light-hearted, generalised look at Libra energy through the lens of astrology and crystals. It’s all for the love and fun of it! Of course, there's far more to a person than just their star sign — so take what resonates and leave the rest.
Libra – September 23 to October 22. These dates can shift slightly depending on the year and time zone, so if someone is born right on the cusp, they can choose what they want to be. This blog can apply to people with their moon in Libra or the rising sign/ascendant in Libra .
Libra… mmmmmm. Everyone loves a Libra. Warm, charming, kind, balanced — you make people feel comfortable without even trying. You’ve got a natural gift for harmony, getting along with others, and smoothing over life’s rough edges.
But let’s pause here. What about you?
As an air sign, you’re meant to be great at communication — yet sometimes you’re thinking one thing, doing another, and saying a third. That’s not balance, darling. Real balance means including yourself in the equation. Seeing all sides is your superpower — but don’t forget to weigh up what you want.
Yes, people love you. But it’s okay if not everyone does. You don’t always have to say the “right” thing or hide your truth to keep the peace. Sometimes being honest is the most balanced choice. So be brave. Speak up when it matters. Don’t pour from your cup until it’s empty.
You have dreams, too. You’re allowed to say, “No, thanks,” or “Actually, this isn’t working for me.” Your crown might be a little crooked sometimes — wear it anyway. The people who matter won’t care… and the ones who do? Not worth your sparkle.
Crystals for Libra Energy
These aren’t your boring old textbook picks. Libra needs crystals with beauty, harmony, and a little backbone. These were chosen intuitively — take what resonates, and leave the rest to the wind.
💗 Rose Quartz or 💚 Green Aventurine – Love, Your Way
Ruled by Venus, you naturally gravitate toward Rose Quartz — the soft pink stone of unconditional love. But if pink isn’t your vibe, Green Aventurine is just as perfect — soothing, heart-healing, and a touch more grounding. Can’t choose? Have both. That’s balance, right?
🌈 Fluorite (All Colours) – Focus for the Wavering Mind
Libras can get stuck in indecision, especially when there's too much noise. Fluorite clears the mental clutter and helps with focus and communication. Choose the colour you’re drawn to — each one supports clarity in a different way, and all of them are beautiful. Just like you.
⚫❄️ Snowflake Obsidian – Protection & Shadow Balance
Black and white, light and dark — Snowflake Obsidian reflects the dual nature within us all. This stone helps you accept your “flaws” as part of your whole self. It also offers energetic protection when you're feeling emotionally stretched by everyone else's needs.
🌟 Golden Healer Quartz – Healing with Hope
This stunning golden crystal is full of high-vibe light and gentle strength. It’s ideal for Libras doing the inner work — healing from old people-pleasing patterns, calling your power back, and stepping into your authentic self. It reminds you that healing doesn’t have to be heavy.
Libra, you were born to bring beauty, peace, and grace to the world — just don’t forget to include yourself in that picture. Stand tall in your truth, wear the sparkly dress (or don’t), and trust that your vibe will attract the right tribe.
A Little Note from Me
Please note, I’m not a professional astrologer — I just read way too many astrology books as a teenager. (Like, definitely on the unhealthy obsession scale.) These days, if you ask me about your star sign, I’ll probably just tell you to read a book.
Astrology, for me, is more of a light-hearted passion. It’s fun, reflective, and sometimes surprisingly accurate — but it’s not the be-all and end-all of life. Crystals are more my area of experience, and I truly believe that no matter what any book says, you should always go with what you feel drawn to.
These blogs are just me blending all twelve star signs with my knowledge of crystals — a bit of fun, a bit of wisdom, and hopefully a bit of insight for you too.
If you’re keen to dive deeper into astrology, I highly recommend visiting a local astrologer. It's important to have your birth chart done using the correct hemisphere (especially here in the Southern Hemisphere, where things can flip on their head). A good astrologer will make it all feel much more real and relatable.
Also, if you’re looking for a great read, Linda Goodman’s books are some of my absolute favourites. You can still find new copies, but there are heaps floating around second-hand — just watch the spin of the book if it’s been well-thumbed! Keep in mind that many astrology books get re-edited or revised to fit the times, so check which version you’re reading.
