Why Are Dark Crystals and Golden Healers So Popular Right Now?
Lately, I’ve noticed a bit of a pattern here at Blissful Things…
There’s been a real pull toward darker stones, think obsidian, black tourmaline, smoky quartz, along with the beautiful, warm energy of Golden Healers, Citrine and Tiger's eye.
It’s always interesting to watch what people are naturally drawn to, because more often than not, it reflects what’s going on beneath the surface, not just individually, but collectively as well.
A Need for Grounding and Protection
Dark crystals have always been known for their grounding and protective qualities.
They’re the ones people reach for when life feels a little too much. When things feel busy, overwhelming, or uncertain, these stones help bring everything back down to earth again.
They can feel steady. Solid. Supportive.
And right now, it makes a lot of sense.
With the pace of life, the pressure of day-to-day living, and everything happening in the wider world, many people are simply looking for something that helps them feel a bit more anchored and in control again.
Then Comes the Healing
Alongside that, there’s been a strong pull toward Golden Healers and other yellow and gold stones.
These are such special pieces, soft, warm, and gently powerful. They carry a completely different feel to the darker stones.
Where dark crystals help you feel safe and grounded, Yellow and Golds come in with a sense of restoration.
They’re often chosen when someone is ready to move forward, to process, and to start feeling a little lighter again.
A Natural Balance
What’s really interesting is seeing these two energies showing up together.
It’s almost like a natural progression:
First, the need to feel safe and steady.
Then, the readiness to heal and lift.
And that’s something I see time and time again when helping people choose their crystals, it’s rarely random.
Trusting What You’re Drawn To
If you’ve found yourself drawn to darker stones or bright yellow stones lately, there’s usually a good reason for it.
Crystals have a way of meeting you where you are.
Sometimes that’s grounding.
Sometimes it’s healing.
And sometimes, it’s a bit of both.
Here at Blissful Things, I always encourage people to trust that pull — it’s often more in tune than we realise.
