Opalized Ammonite Fossil with Rainbow Flashes

Ammonites coming from Tulear, Madagascar tends to be Jurassic - Cretaceous in age. 

This Ammoniate has skillfully polished to show the spectacular array of rainbow flashed created by the opalization. Truly beautiful and Mesmerizing. 
Ammonites are part of the  Nautiloid family and similar to the Notaulus species we see in our oceans today. 
I very striking fossil that would look wonderful in any fossil or shell collection. Also makes a great decor piece on its own.
