Sardonyx Eight-sided Tower

We normally come across the 6-sided towers so it's nice to see something a little different, One very striking Sardonyx indeed. 

Sardonyx is a variety of chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline form of quartz, composed of alternating layers of sard (a reddish-brown form of carnelian) and onyx (typically white or black). This banded appearance makes sardonyx visually striking and easily recognizable. It ranks 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it suitable for carvings and jewellery. Used since antiquity in cameos and seals, sardonyx combines beauty with durability. Metaphysically, Sardonyx is associated with strength, protection, and grounding. It is thought to promote integrity, stability, and lasting happiness in relationships. Aligned with the root and sacral chakras, this stone is believed to boost willpower and confidence, helping one stay disciplined and anchored during times of challenge or change. Sardonyx is also considered a stone of courage, often used to reinforce personal and spiritual strength.
