Septarian Palm stone
Septarian, Also known as Septarian Nodules, Septarian, or Septerye, are captivating tri-coloured concretions composed of Aragonite (brown), Calcite (yellow), and Limestone (grey). The term "Septarian" derives from the word "Septeria," which refers to the unique internal cavities and cracks within these formations. Dating back 50 to 70 million years to the Earth's Cretaceous Period, these nodules formed as sea life became attracted to molten sediment from volcanic eruptions. As the marine organisms died, their chemical composition enriched the sedimentary rock, creating the nodules we admire today. As oceans receded, the drying waters caused massive cracks, allowing the chemicals from the dead sea life to crystallize into beautiful Aragonite crusts and drusy Calcite crystals. Known sources of Septarian Nodules include Utah and Madagascar, with this particular Dragon Egg hailing from Madagascar. Metaphysically, Septarian Dragon Eggs are believed to possess powerful grounding and healing properties. They are said to enhance communication, promote emotional balance, and foster connection with one's inner self. Many practitioners use these stones to create a harmonious environment, as they have been said to help dispel negative energy and encourage patience and understanding. Holding or meditating with a Septarian Dragon Egg can support emotional stability and boost creativity.
