Pineapple Quartz, also known as Celestial Quartz or Candle Quartz, is a distinctive variety of quartz recognised by the many small crystal terminations growing around the base and sides of a central point, all aligned in the same direction. These formations resemble wax dripping down a candle, giving the crystal its common name. Typically off-white to creamy in colour, Pineapple Quartz may also display soft pink, red, or brown inclusions. It forms within hydrothermal veins, where mineral-rich fluids cool and crystallise in stages, allowing the main crystal to grow first, followed by the smaller secondary points that create its unique structure.
