If you're looking for something a weee bit different in Amethyst. This one's worth a mention.

Suger Amethyst also referred to as Spider Amethyst.

Known for its interesting colour distribution which results in phantom like structures inside the various crystals. Parts of the Crystal and base matrix have a rough 'sugar like' coating. Hence the name 'Sugar Amethyst'. Please not the Base rock can be fragile in some specimens. This comes down to the environment in were its found and can be unavoidable. So, care is needed when looking after this type of specimen. There are not a lot of these around on the NZ market, so we feel very privileged to stock it.
