Septarian, also known as a Septarian Nodule, is a fascinating natural stone composed primarily of Aragonite (brown), Calcite (yellow), and Limestone or Mudstone (grey). Most Septarian formed around 50–70 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous, when mineral-rich mud on ancient sea floors hardened and developed natural cracks. Over time, mineral-rich groundwater filled these cracks, allowing Calcite and Aragonite crystals to form the distinctive patterns and sparkling pockets that make each piece unique.

Metaphysically, Septarian is believed to be a grounding and nurturing stone that encourages emotional balance, confidence, and clear communication. It is often used to promote patience, inner harmony, creativity, and a deeper connection with oneself while helping to dispel negative energy.
