Vivianite is generally a brittle mineral and rare. So, to see it in its worked form is very special. 

Vivianite is a rare, hydrated iron phosphate mineral, scientifically known as Fe₄(PO₄)₃·8H₂O. It forms in various environments, often in bogs, swamps, or the oxidising zones of iron-rich deposits, and is typically found as deep blue to green crystals. The mineral is known for its striking colour transformation; when exposed to air and light, it can fade to a pale green or brown as it loses water content and becomes more oxidized. Vivianite is highly prized by mineral collectors due to its vibrant hues and unique crystalline structure. Metaphysically, Vivianite is believed to be a stone of emotional healing and transformation, often associated with enhancing creativity and self-expression.
