Yellow Calcite in its Raw Form

Yellow Calcite is a vibrant variety of calcite, composed primarily of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), with its sunny yellow hue often caused by iron or other mineral inclusions. Like all calcites, it crystallizes in the trigonal system and has a Mohs hardness of 3. Scientifically, it shares the same chemical structure as other calcite types but stands out for its uplifting colour and translucent glow. Metaphysically, Yellow Calcite is associated with the solar plexus chakra, promoting confidence, vitality, and a positive outlook. It’s often used to boost motivation, clear mental fog, and support emotional balance. Many find it helpful during times of change, as it encourages optimism and the courage to take action.
