Green Calcite Raw

Green Calcite is a soothing variety of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) that gets its soft green hue from trace amounts of minerals such as iron or chlorite. Like all calcites, it forms in the trigonal crystal system and has a Mohs hardness of 3, making it relatively soft and ideal for gentle, nurturing work. It often forms in large masses with a waxy or glassy appearance and is commonly found in countries like Mexico and Brazil.
