Jade Flat Stone

Jade is a term that refers to two distinct mineral species: jadeite and nephrite. Both are tough, compact stones used for thousands of years in tools, ornaments, and spiritual artefacts. Jadeite is a pyroxene mineral, often more translucent and vivid in colour, while nephrite is a variety of the amphibole group, typically creamier and more fibrous in texture. Both rank around 6 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, but are exceptionally durable due to their interlocking crystal structures. Metaphysically, Jade is revered as a stone of wisdom, protection, and harmony. It is believed to promote emotional balance, attract good luck, and encourage serenity and compassion. Strongly connected to the heart chakra, Jade supports loving energy, self-care, and healthy relationships, while also fostering inner peace and a deep sense of well-being.
