Mosasaur – Fossil Teeth

Price is per piece and selected at random when purchased. Please refer to photos for size

Please note that these specimens are not perfect and may have had. This is reflected in the price, making them more affordable for collectors.

Mosasaurs were a family of enormous marine reptiles that dominated the seas around 90 million years ago. They ruled during the final 20–25 million years of the Cretaceous period. With the extinction of the ichthyosaurs and the decline of the plesiosaurs, mosasaurs thrived and diversified, becoming prolific apex predators in almost every ocean habitat of their time.

These fossilised teeth come from the famous Khouribgha region of Morocco, one of the world’s richest fossil beds. Each tooth is a tangible link to these mighty marine reptiles that once patrolled the ancient seas.

Note: Our online fossil range shows the bulk of our collection available for purchase. Items are stored and not available for immediate viewing. Online order pickups are welcome, and viewing is available by appointment.
