Eudialyte is a striking and unusual mineral known for its rich pink to deep red colours, often found within dark alkaline rocks such as nepheline syenite. Scientifically, Eudialyte is a complex sodium calcium zirconium silicate mineral that can also contain rare earth elements, giving it a very intricate chemical structure. It commonly forms in massive patterns rather than distinct crystals, and its name comes from the Greek meaning “easily dissolved,” referring to how it reacts with acid. Eudialyte is most famously sourced from places like Russia’s Kola Peninsula and Greenland. Metaphysically, Eudialyte is often associated with the heart chakra and is believed to encourage self-love, emotional healing, and living from the heart.
