Crazy Lace Agate, also known as the "Laughter Stone" or "Happy Lace," is a captivating variety of agate, recognised for its intricate patterns of swirling colours, including reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, and browns. Scientifically, it is a chalcedony, a form of quartz, with a banded structure formed from mineral-rich solutions that fill cavities in volcanic rocks. The unique swirling patterns are a result of the minerals such as iron and manganese interacting with the silica in the stone.
