Unakite is a unique and visually distinctive metamorphic rock composed primarily of green epidote, pink orthoclase feldspar, and clear to milky quartz. This combination gives Unakite its mottled green and pink appearance, and it forms during the metamorphism of granite. Its mixed mineral composition makes it a popular stone for decorative use and lapidary work. Metaphysically, Unakite is considered a stone of emotional healing and balance. It is believed to gently release energetic blockages, especially those related to the heart and past trauma, while also promoting patience and spiritual growth. Often associated with the heart chakra, Unakite supports harmony in relationships and encourages a grounded, compassionate outlook.
