These teeth are commonly supplied as Megalodon but may also include other large extinct shark species from the same region. Found in estuaries and river systems, they have often been naturally reworked by water, which contributes to their varied condition and origin.
Otodus megalodon was a prehistoric giant shark that lived from around 15–2.5 million years ago, reaching lengths of up to 15–20 meters.
As sharks are made mostly of cartilage, teeth are the most common fossils preserved. Partial teeth still retain their natural shape, enamel, and structure, making them an affordable way to own a piece of this ancient predator.
