Pink Jasper is a beautiful and nurturing variety of the mineral jasper, a form of microcrystalline quartz (chalcedony). Its soft pink colour often comes from iron or manganese inclusions and can vary from pale blush tones to deeper rose hues, sometimes mixed with patterns or banding. Like all jaspers, it has a Mohs hardness of around 6.5–7, making it a relatively durable stone. Metaphysically, Pink Jasper is known as a stone of calm and compassion. It’s said to soothe the emotional body, offering gentle support during times of stress or grief. Many believe it nurtures the heart chakra, promoting self-love, kindness, and emotional healing. Pink Jasper is also associated with grounding energy, helping one feel safe, supported, and more in tune with the present moment.
