Yellow Calcite is a vibrant variety of calcite, composed primarily of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), with its sunny yellow hue often caused by iron or other mineral inclusions. Like all calcites, it crystallizes in the trigonal system and has a Mohs hardness of 3. Scientifically, it shares the same chemical structure as other calcite types but stands out for its uplifting colour and translucent glow.
