Pyrite is an iron sulphide mineral, commonly known as Fool's Gold due to its striking golden metallic appearance. It naturally forms in a variety of crystal habits, including cubes, pyritohedron's and more complex interlocking formations.

In crystal healing traditions, Pyrite is associated with protection, confidence, motivation and abundance. Often called a stone of prosperity, Pyrite is believed to encourage determination, positive thinking, and the confidence to pursue personal goals. Its strong geometric crystal formations are also symbolically associated with structure, stability and focus
