Ammonites are part of the cephalopod family, closely related to today’s squid and octopus.
The Goniatite ammonites are especially notable for the wavy lines decorating their shells, which trace the chambers used to regulate buoyancy, allowing these animals to navigate different ocean depths with ease.
These fossils are carefully collected from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, a region renowned for producing beautifully preserved ammonite specimens. Each piece is a unique window into a time when the seas were dominated by these remarkable molluscs.
Note: Our online fossil range shows the bulk of our collection available for purchase. Items are stored and not available for immediate viewing. Online order pickups are welcome, and viewing is available by appointment.
