Candy Fluorite is a trade name commonly used for Rainbow Fluorite displaying softer, often pastel-like colour tones compared with the more vivid colours typically associated with Rainbow Fluorite. It is essentially Rainbow Fluorite, with the name “Candy Fluorite” used to describe its particular colour and appearance.

Rainbow Fluorite is a beautiful variety of Fluorite known for its natural bands and layers of purple, green, blue and clear tones, sometimes with softer shades appearing throughout. The colours can form striking bands, zones and patterns within the crystal, making every piece unique. Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF₂) and has a Mohs hardness of around 4.
Metaphysically, Rainbow Fluorite is associated with mental clarity, focus, organisation and balance. It is believed to help clear mental clutter, encourage concentration and bring a sense of order when thoughts or emotions feel scattered.
