Gem Silica, also known as Botryoidal Chrysocolla, ranges from 2.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale and can be delicate, so it is best handled with care. Its stunning aqua-blue colouring is highly prized, and some pieces may also feature beautiful green Malachite.
Chrysocolla is a copper-based mineral often found alongside Malachite and other copper minerals. Metaphysically, it is associated with calm, communication, emotional healing, creativity, and self-expression, and is often linked to the throat chakra.
