Gem Silica, also known as Botryoidal Chrysocolla, ranges from 2.5 to 7 on the Mohs hardness scale and can be delicate, so it is best handled with care. Its stunning aqua-blue colouring is highly prized, and some pieces may also feature beautiful green Malachite.
