Muscovite/Yellow Mica Cabochon

Muscovite is a silicate mineral belonging to the mica group, known for its shimmering, sheet-like appearance and pearly to vitreous lustre. Its chemical formula is KAl₂(AlSi₃O₁₀)(OH)₂, and it forms in thin, flexible layers that can be split into transparent sheets. Muscovite commonly occurs in granites, pegmatites, and metamorphic rocks, and can range in colour from silvery-white to green, yellow, or even pinkish tones. Metaphysically, Muscovite is considered a stone of insight, clarity, and spiritual growth. It is believed to enhance intuition and psychic abilities while supporting emotional healing and self-reflection. Many use Muscovite during meditation to access higher guidance, ease anxiety, and encourage a more positive, reflective mindset. Its mirror-like quality symbolises self-awareness and helps illuminate the truth within.
