Fossilised Gastropods from Morocco, Set of Three

Fossilised gastropods are the preserved shells of ancient snails that lived millions of years ago. These creatures belong to the mollusc family, related to modern snails and slugs, and were abundant in both marine and freshwater environments throughout Earth’s history.

Each fossil shows the unique spiral shell structure that gastropods are famous for, sometimes beautifully worn or mineralised over time. Fossilised gastropods are usually found in limestone, shale, or sedimentary rock deposits, and each specimen offers a small window into the diverse ecosystems of the past.

Mostly incomplete, what you see is what you get in the photo. Please refer to the photo for size. Sold as a set of three
