The Dioptase is a bright emerald green colour. The following mineral may or may not be present in the matrix in varying degrees. occasional Blue Azurite, Shattuckite, Malachite and Chrysocolla.
Dioptase is a soft mineral, so care is needed. Being 5 on the Mohs Hardness scale and can be brittle. Do not cleanse in water or salt water. If carrying in a pouch with other crystals, wrap it in tissue so it does not chip against them.
